Stephen D. Marks

62, of Evansville, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center.

Stephen was in business with his father at M&M Motors, later worked for Expressway Dodge, and then retired from the U.S. Post Office as a Mail Clerk. He was a disabled Veteran of the Viet Nam conflict. Stephen was a member of the VFW #1114 and the American Legion. He enjoyed playing bingo and reading.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Patricia; his daughters, Jamie Lawark and husband Chris, of Ft. Wayne, IN; and Kelli Miller, of Berea, KY; son, Christopher Miller and wife Susan, of Evansville, IN; granddaughters, Kiersten Lawark; and Sadie Miller; grandsons, Andrew Miller and Wayne Grondin; mother, Ruth Marks, of Evansville; and sister, Sandra Dalhaus, of Maryville, TN

Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Harold Marks, in 2004.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue, Evansville, IN.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Dale Culbertson officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery where the Retired Veterans' Memorial Club will hold graveside services.
