Samuel "Mickey" Brannock

95, of Evansville, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center.

Mickey retired in 1978 as district sales manager for Kelloggs Cereal Company of Battle Creek Michigan. He worked in southern Indiana, southern Illinois and western Kentucky. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the south pacific and attained the rank of staff sergeant. He was a disabled American veteran, member of the American Legion #44, and VFW 1114.

He is survived by his daughter, Marjorie Johnson and husband Tom, and grandson Eric Johnson and wife Deana, great grandson Cooper Johnson, all of Evansville, IN, and nieces and nephews.

Micky was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Brannock in February 2008.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville.

Services will be on Wednesday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Sister Darlene Boyd officiating.

Entombment will be in Park Lawn Mausoleum where the Retired Veteran's Memorial Club will conduct graveside services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society, 400 Milner Industrial Drive, Evansville, IN 47710.
